General Venue Questions
Where is Venue 92 located?
Venue 92 is in Woodstock, GA just north of downtown Atlanta. Because of the intown loft style of the venue, Venue 92 attracts clients from all over the metro Atlanta area. Area attractions include Downtown Woodstock with a mix of unique shops and restaurants.
What types of events do you host?
All types of events including weddings, receptions, business meetings, holiday parties, mitzvahs, sweet 16s, quinceaneras, celebrations of life, charity events, school banquets, sorority events.
Can you rent the space for photo studio work?
Yes. Please reference the service page for The Studio at Venue 92.
What is the capacity?
For an inside seated event with a dance floor, the capacity is 200. For a seated event without a dance floor, the capacity is 250. Venue 92 can host up to 300 cocktail style or with additional seating added on the covered back patio or upstairs.
Is there parking available and is it free?
Parking is available and free at Venue 92 and surrounding businesses when not in use. Monday through Friday, parking is limited to 40 vehicles until 6:30. Larger events are held on Saturdays, Sundays and M-F at 7:00 PM. A parking plan is shared with the client and vendors prior to the event. When guests arrive, Venue 92 staff is outside directing cars at no charge.
Where are the nearest hotels?
There are many hotels in the area. The most popular options are the Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn and Suites at the HWY92 exit off of I-575. There is a nice Holiday Inn near the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta outlet mall. Our clients wanting a higher level of service, the Embassy Suites Kennesaw Is very popular, includes a Ruth’s Chris Steak House and is next door to Tin Lizzy’s Cantina which is open on Saturday until 12 AM for your after party.
Do you offer indoor and outdoor spaces?
Yes. We have a great garden area that includes a covered option, so you don’t have to worry about the weather.
How late can events go?
While most events end at 10 or 11, events can go later with approval.
Do I need to rent a dancefloor?
No. Part of what makes events at Venue 92 unique is that you can have the dancefloor where you like without having to rent one.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The main floor, where most events are held, is wheelchair accessible. Please note that the upstairs area does not have elevator access and is not wheelchair accessible. We encourage clients to bring accessibility needs to our attention so we can discuss and plan.
What is your policy on children at events?
Children are welcome at Venue 92, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times and are not permitted to play in the garden. In our experience, guests at adult‑focused events—such as weddings—are often not prepared to supervise children, which is important to consider when planning your celebration.
For children participants, we recommend making arrangements for children to enjoy off‑site activities after the ceremony or dinner. Additionally, the upstairs spaces at Venue 92 are not suitable for hosting children during events.
Do you require event insurance?
While not required, clients should fully understand what insurance liability and cancellation options are available and what is covered. Venue 92 carries a liability policy, and all vendors should be licensed and insured.
Who is responsible for setup and cleanup?
Vendors and clients are responsible for setting up and cleaning up what they bring in.
What happens if something gets damaged?
The clients Security Deposit will cover fixing damages made by the client, guests, or non-preferred vendors. The Security Deposit will also cover any client balances owed. Damages made by preferred vendors or Venue 92 staff are not covered by the clients Security Deposit. For non-preferred caterers that pay an additional Security Deposit, the clients Security Deposit will only be used after the catering Security Deposit funds have been depleted.
Pricing & Packages
What is the rental fee and what does it include?
Custom packages are designed for each client, so you pay only for those services that you want. The most basic package includes facility rental & beverage services with staff/bartenders. An All-Inclusive package includes everything you would need for your event except officiant and photographer. Please refer to our service pages for more details regarding your specific type of event.
Do you offer All-inclusive packages?
Yes. If you are looking to make the planning process as stress free as possible, select one of our All-Inclusive packages. Please refer to our service pages for more pricing and inclusion details.
Are there peak/off-peak season rates or other discounts available?
Yes. Discounts are provided for: off-peak months, Fridays, Sundays, weekdays, Saturday brunch, and micro events. One personal discount, per event, is also available to first responders, nurses, teachers or for military service.
What is the deposit amount and payment schedule?
To reserve an event date, the client signs a contract and makes the first non-refundable payment. For most events, there are 4 non-refundable payments and 1 security deposit. Payment schedules may vary based on time to event. The security deposit is refunded on terms specified in the client contract.
Booking & Payments
How do I reserve a date?
The Venue 92 representative will let you know what dates are available. When a client is ready to book a date, the Venue 92 representative will put a 4 day hold on that date to allow time to review/sign the contract and make the 1st Installment.
Do you make a deposit or 1st Installment to save a date?
A non-refundable 1st Installment is due to save a date. Installments amounts and dues dates are listed in the contract. Separately, Venue 92 does collect a refundable Security Deposit along with the Final Installment 30 days before the event to cover damages.
When is the final payment due?
Approximately 30 days before the event, Venue 92 will host a Final Walkthrough where Final Installments and Security Deposits are paid.
Do you offer payment plans?
If outside of 9 months, each payment will be approximately ¼ of the total Venue 92 charge. If inside of 9 months, the payment plan will be modified to 2 or 3 installments. Installment dates and amounts are specified in the contract. All Installments are non-refundable.
Wedding-Specific Questions
Do you offer ceremony and reception packages?
Yes. Packages are customized to each individual client’s needs. Receptions are 4 hours standard. Adding a ceremony adds 1 event hour for a total event time of 5 hours. We offer a-la-carte, all-inclusive and any combination in between.
Is there a bridal suite or groom’s suite available?
For clients getting married at Venue 92, the ceremony fee includes 3 hours of bridal party access to Venue 92 to get ready and take pre-ceremony pictures. The bridal areas are some of the best in Atlanta. Grooms lounge includes tv. Additional time is available for a fee. Clients are asked to avoid areas of the venue where vendors are setting up for the event.
Is a rehearsal included?
Yes. Clients have 1 hour to rehearse with their coordinator. Rehearsals normally take place the day before the event around 2 or 3 pm. This time is flexible and is worked out with your Venue 92 representative. Scheduled events take priority over rehearsals.
Can we host the rehearsal dinner on-site?
This is an uncommon option as it would be a separate rental. Ask your Venue 92 representative for rehearsal dinner recommendations – there are many great options near the venue and hotels.
Do you allow outside officiants?
Yes. An officiant is very personal, and we leave that selection up to the client.
Can I bring my own planner/coordinator?
Yes. All weddings must have, at a minimum, a day-of-coordinator which Venue 92 includes in all-inclusive packages. Outside planners/coordinators are allowed but require approval, must be professional and dedicated to working the event – they cannot attend the event and participate as a guest or be a family member.
How much time is included for setup and breakdown?
Ceremony clients welcome to access Venue 92 3 hours before the event. Vendors have 2 hours to setup and 1 hour to breakdown. For a normally ceremony and reception, the event is 5 hours.
Vendors & Services
Does the venue have preferred or recommended?
Yes. Venue 92 recommends clients use preferred vendors. Please reference the Preferred Vendor list for venue partners.
Which vendors are included with an All-Inclusive Package?
Only select Preferred Vendors are included in All-Inclusive Packages. Your Venue 92 representative will identify those for you on the Preferred Vendor sheet.
All-Inclusive Packages do not include photo/video or an officiant as these categories are very personal.
Does the venue allow non-preferred vendors?
Yes. Non-preferred vendors are allowed with approval and must have business license and insurance. For catering and sometimes other vendors categories depending on scope of work, additional fees/security deposits may be required.
How can non-preferred caterers get approved?
Please reference the Venue 92 Non-Preferred Catering Approval Process. The client is responsible for non-preferred vendors brought to Venue 92 and must manage the approval process.
Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, or décor?
Yes. Chairs and tables in inventory are included in the rental fee. Linens are included with all-inclusive events and can be rented for a-la-carte events. Décor is provided by Blooms and Décor who is the Venue 92 in-house decorator. It is possible to bring in outside decorators as well.
Are there noise restrictions or curfews?
No.
Do you allow live bands and DJs?
Yes.
Are candles, sparklers, or fireworks permitted?
Candles in votives, sparklers for sendoff and dancing on a cloud smoke effect are allowed. Fireworks, seeds, rice and confetti are not allowed.
Food, Beverage & Alcohol
Does the venue provide catering services?
Yes. Venue 92 includes catering with optional all-inclusive services. Menus are available upon request.
Does the venue provide alcohol?
Yes. Venue 92 has full bar options that include alcohol. Ask the Venue 92 representative for a bar menu.
Can clients bring their own food or alcohol?
Food must be prepared by a licensed and insured vendor. Clients can bring in their own alcohol or choose a Venue 92 beverage package that includes alcohol.
Is there a kitchen or prep area available?
Venue 92 wants caterers to be successful and has equipped the prep area with ovens (for finishing), warmers, generous space and easy access. Caterers enjoy working at Venue 92 and it is reflected in the service the client receives. No cooking is allowed on-site.
Are there restrictions on external catering?
Yes. Please reference the Venue 92 Non-Preferred Catering Approval Process for details about how to get external caterers approved. Not all caterers will qualify.
Are there restrictions on food trucks?
Food trucks are welcome with a plan and approval. For example, what is going to happen if it is raining? That has happened several times which was very inconvenient for the guests to order and get their food.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes. You can select one of the BYOB (bring your own) packages.
Where is the best place to buy alcohol?
We recommend Lucky’s Beverage World, which is located just 5 minutes away from Venue 92, or Total Wine in Kennesaw, GA.
Do you require a bartender or security for events with alcohol?
Yes. Bartenders are always provided from Venue 92 as part of your Beverage Service. Security is required for events over 150 or when spirits are served.
Do we tip the staff?
Yes. Tipping is always appreciated. Bartenders specifically work for tips and earn $150+ each per event. Tip jars and Venmo/Cash App bar codes are usually put out – we ask that a client representative check and the end of the event and supplement the tips if low based on performance. We also have the option of no tip jar/display with the client taking care of the tips at the end of the event. Non-bar staff also appreciate tips especially for exceptional service.
What about plates, flatware and glassware?
Venue 92 All-inclusive Packages includes China plates and metal flatware. Venue 92 bar services include clear plastic cups for non-bottled beverages and glassware is available for a fee either through the caterer (most common) or Venue 92.
